Expandable Trailers
Expandable trailers (sometimes called "hybrid trailers") combine a hard-walled travel trailer body with tent-style fold-out bed extensions at the front and/or rear. You get hardwall living space for the kitchen and bathroom plus dramatically expanded sleeping capacity when the tent ends are deployed. The trade-off: those tent ends offer less weather protection than hard walls and add setup time at each stop.
